To My Fellow NACD Members:

Please take a close look at the lineup we have planned for you for the coming program year. As you will see, there will be a full slate of 11 programs, packed full of valuable up to the minute information you will find you can use in your daily boardroom activities. Included are programs that are directly drawn from today's headlines. A further drill down on what is in many boardrooms the #1 issue of the day - cybersecurity. A primer on a difficult-to-grasp yet potentially revolutionary technology development that many expect all board members will soon need to be knowledgeable about -- blockchain. And a true-to-life mock proxy battle that will prepare you to act effectively should the time come when your company is approached by an activist investor. We have two very distinguished speakers lined up for our open meetings, Professor Michael Useem from the Wharton School and Bob Carrigan, the CEO of Dun & Bradstreet. We have also tried to make the schedule more flexible by holding three sessions as dinner programs and using a variety of venues.

So please be sure to make all the dates on your calendar. You can even sign up for all breakfast events right now through our website. Each program will provide you a great opportunity to network with fellow directors and receive credit toward obtaining or maintaining your NACD Fellowship, widely deemed to be the Gold Standard of director education that tangibly shows your firm commitment to good corporate governance.

I also hope to see many of you at this year's Global Board Leaders' Summit to be held this fall in National Harbor, MD. Important details, including a detailed agenda can be found on the Global Board Leaders' Summit website. I can assure you it will be one of the top highlights of your business year.

Best regards,
