NACD-NJ to Present “Best Practices for Effective Leadership in the Boardroom”

New Jersey — February 12, 2015 — NACD New Jersey Chapter has announced its March 19, 2015 chapter breakfast meeting.  Titled “Best Practices for Effective Leadership in The Boardroom,” the meeting - the first of a series on board leadership - will discuss the characteristics of great board leaders, the pitfalls that these leaders manage to avoid, and how to effectively handle succession planning and deal with ineffective leaders without damaging board cohesion.

The meeting will feature an expert panel consisting of Tom Colligan, Retired PricewaterhouseCoopers Partner, Board Director with Office Depot, ADT Security Services, CNH Global, Targus and Schering, and Founder of Colligan Group and Gil Medina, Executive Vice President, CBRE, Inc. and Board Director with Solix Corporation and will be moderated by Catherine Bromilow, PricewaterhouseCoopers Partner - Center for Board Governance.
